Privacy policy

Version 2026-06-10 · Last updated 2026-06-10

Draft — not yet in force. This document is a working draft and is pending review by a UK solicitor before public launch. The published, reviewed version is the one the app will record on acceptance.

What we collect

Only what we need: your account details, profile, and town-level location — never your home address.

Lawful basis

Membership of a hub can reveal political opinion, which is special-category data. We process it on the basis of your explicit consent, captured at signup and recorded with a version and timestamp.

Your rights

  • Access and export your data (a full JSON download).
  • Erase your account, which removes your data.
  • Withdraw consent and object, subject to legal limits.

Storage & processors

Data is encrypted at rest. Our sub-processors include Supabase (database, auth, storage), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (email). Uploaded images have their embedded metadata (including any location data) stripped before storage.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data and content are removed; limited records required for legal, safety, or audit purposes (for example, a moderation action) may be retained for as long as the law requires.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and the service secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first.

Age

Patriot Hub is not intended for children. You must be old enough to give valid consent under UK law to create an account.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update its version and date above. Material changes that affect the basis on which we process your data may require your renewed consent.
